Forever by Judy Blume

Synopsis: Katherine and Michael meet at a New Year's Eve party. They're attracted to each other, they grow to love each other. And once they've decided their love is forever, they make love. It's the beginning of an intense and exclusive relationship, with a future all planned. Until Katherine's parents insist that she and Michael put their love to the test with a summer apart...

Review: This book was really intense. I liked the story a lot, but the characters annoyed me. Micheal was the aggressive one in the relationship so I didn't like how he was the one that started them having sex. I'm just one of those people that think that the passive ones should be the instigators. Kath was annoying because she thought she needed to be with Micheal all summer. That bothers me too. Every relationship could have some space in my opinion. I did like Theo though. He seemed like he was really nice. I liked Artie too. Erica seemed a little too close to my friend Erica so that was kind of bizarre.

This book had everything that's good about sex in it. After a while Micheal seemed like a really okay guy so I don't really think any characters won out at the end so that was a bit of a downfall to me. Overall it was an okay book so I'll give it 3/5.
