Linger by Maggie Stiefvater

Summary: In Maggie Stiefvater's Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other. Now, inLinger, they must fight to be together. For Grace, this means defying her parents and keeping a very dangerous secret about her own well-being. For Sam, this means grappling with his werewolf past...and figuring out a way to survive into the future. Add into the mix a new wolf named Cole, whose own past has the potential to destroy the whole pack. And Isabel, who already lost her brother to the wolves...and is nonetheless drawn to Cole. At turns harrowing and euphoric, Linger is a spellbinding love story that explores both sides of love--the light and the dark, the warm and the cold--in a way you will never forget.

Review: Okay so I kind of forgot a lot of stuff that happened in Shiver because I don't own a copy of the book and I didn't get a chance to re-read it before I jumped into Linger. Maggie did a great job of telling what happened in Shiver without it being boring and pointless in this story. The story was so wonderful. I love the way that no matter what book you read by Maggie, either faerie or werewolves, you can easily get sucked into her world and her writing. Isabel has grown on me in this book. I love that towards the end she chewed Sam out. Don't get me wrong now. Sam is one of the best fictional boyfriends I've ever read, but he can be a pansy sometimes. Cole still needs to grow on me some. He was likable at the end (and I mean the VERY end) so I hoping that in Forever he grows a bit more as a character. I don't know how else to describe how much I loved this book.
